The ‘Dol 5’ race as it’s fondly called, is a much-loved, fun summer race. It starts with a steep climb out of town but then runners get to take in fabulous views and enjoy all the downhill back to the finish. The race appeals to all types from fast road runners to slower fun runners who enjoy the great friendly atmosphere... and the challenge of the first killer hill.

Registration: on line at Fabian 4 (link below) £12 for UKA affiliated athletes / £14 non- affiliated - or on the day £15/£17. 120 entry limit

Open from 11:15-12:40

Changing rooms, No showers. Bags left at owners risk.

Parking: Marian Mawr & Glan Wnion Leisure Centre pay car parks. (paybyphone app works).

Race Start : Bottom of Llanfachreth Road. ///solutions.unity.mascot 10 minutes walk from race HQ. Arrive 12:45 (see map below)

Water: At the finish, possibly on the course if very hot.

First aid : At the finish. Defibrillator at Gwyndaf Evans Motors Marian Mawr.

Prizes : M & F Under 23, Vet 35,40,45 etc Memento to all finishers

Light refreshments available, and bar open at Rugby club
