2026 British Fell & Hill Relays

Clwb Rhedeg Meirionnydd Running Club enjoyed a memorable day at the 2026 British Fell & Hill Relays in Todmorden, fielding two strong men’s teams against some of the country’s leading fell-running clubs.

As day broke over Todmorden, the first frost of autumn covered the ground and beautiful conditions set the scene for a brilliant day of racing. The fine weather helped create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the championships.

After proudly hosting the event last year, club members were delighted to return to the other side of the course and focus on racing, supporting and enjoying one of the highlights of the fell-running calendar.

The Men’s Open team produced an excellent performance to finish 45th, while the Men’s V40 team battled hard to secure 105th place.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who made the journey to Todmorden. Whether running, supporting or cheering the teams on, each person helped make the occasion special for the club.

It was fantastic to see Meirionnydd represented once again on the national stage. Attention now turns to the 2027 championships in Penrith, where the club hopes to enter three teams: one women’s team and two men’s teams. Contact the team captains to get involved

Well done to every runner and supporter.
