Barmouth 10k 2026

Meirionnydd Running Club had another fantastic turnout at this year’s Barmouth 10k.

With more than 1,100 runners crossing the finish line, it was great to see 22 goats taking part and enjoying near-perfect running conditions: dry, slightly sunny, and with a cool breeze.

The first goat across the line was Gareth Griffith, who finished in an excellent 36:57 and placed 3rd in his age category. Elen Evans was the first lady, recording an equally impressive 44:03 and securing 2nd in her age category. Alec Rattray also delivered a strong performance, finishing in 42:43 to take 2nd place in his age category. Congratulations to them and to everyone who took part.
