Castles Relay 6 June 26

At the halfway stage Meirionnydd’s A team is lying in 5th place 13 and a half minutes behind the leaders Salford Harriers but just over 3 behind 4th place Highgate Harriers but with a 20 minute cushion ahead of race organisers, Les Croupiers. We won 2 stages were 2nd in one and 3rd in 2 more. Our Vets team are only 56 seconds behind 9th place Caerleon. A very determined effort tomorrow will surely get them back amongst the challengers!

Sunday 19:00 So our A team Did overtake Highgate to finish in 3rd place overall, another amazing effort! Full results available here

"Ras Gyfnewid Cestyll Cymru 2026 WCR 2026 Bore da geifr! Dwi jyst eisiau dweud diolch yn fawr iawn pawb am y penwythnos diwethaf! Just want to say a quick massive thankyou to everyone for last weekend. The senior mens team showed true class every single man. Very tough competition, everyone right on the line with what they can physically handle, in training and racing. But all showed up and put on a show! No longer pretenders, after bronze last year, everyone knew we were coming this time. And the bois showed up and put everything in. The team was our strongest ever, and would have won the competition last year with this performance. But such a tough sport and we wouldn't have it any other way. Rwyf mor falch ac anrhydeddus o fod yn rhan ohono. So proud and honoured to be part of it. A diolch hefyd i'r holl wirfoddolwyr a chefnogwyr o'r clwb! and thanks also to all the volunteers and supporters from the club. AMDANI GEIFR!".
