Welsh Castles Relay

Meirionnydd Running Club is proud to enter teams in the Welsh Castles Relay, one of the most iconic and demanding relay races in Wales. The event takes place over two days and covers 209 miles from Caernarfon Castle to Cardiff Castle, with runners taking on a mixture of road sections, tough climbs, fast descents and memorable mountain stages along the way.

For the club, the Welsh Castles Relay is a highlight of the running calendar and a brilliant opportunity for members to represent Meirionnydd as part of a team. Whether racing a stage, supporting fellow runners, helping with logistics or cheering from the roadside, it brings the club together for a weekend of challenge, camaraderie and shared achievement across Wales.
